Experiential learning
Experience the real practice of law in a variety of supervised settings. Students will work with courts, attorneys and clients on actual cases in either of the programs offered.
Through our clinical programs, you can build expertise in such areas as trademark, immigration, civil litigation, economic development and more.
Externships offer valuable training that is of interest to employers and help students develop their skills of advocacy, client counseling, legal writing, and professionalism under the supervision of a mentoring lawyer.
Second- and third-year law students enrolled in the Summer Trial Academy serve as attorneys in mock trials before judges.
