Like a boss: engineering director featured in book celebrating female leaders
Heidi Cressman, the Director of Diversity and Inclusion for the College of Engineering and Polymer Science, was recently featured as one of twenty women in Boss Ladies of CLE – a book that focuses exclusively on the careers of women in Cleveland and the surrounding areas. Written by Maggie Sullivan, a Cleveland-based writer, the book is “an essential read for women and girls that debunks the mentality that you have to move away to make it.”
From Cleveland City Councilwoman Jasmin Santana to Vitamix President/CEO Jodi Berg to the GrooveRyde Co-owner Anjua Maximo, Cressman is in good company with fellow successful female leaders in the area.
“The women in this book dream big and in doing so, become examples of success,” says Cressman. “For young girls to see that women are able to write their own story is a powerful foundation to design their own amazing futures.”
The book is available for purchase or at on Coventry; in Chagrin Falls; in Lakewood; and at Crocker Park.
