7. Find Serenity while studying in Coleman Common
If you're from the Midwest, you know we embrace every chance to enjoy the outdoors while we can. With bone-chilling weather and snow just a few months away, now’s the time to make the most of studying outside. Coleman Common is the perfect spot for this. Whether you find an open seat or bring a blanket and some snacks, there’s plenty of space to relax and soak in the beauty of our campus.
12. Cheer on the Zips at a ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ vs Kent State Wagon Wheel event
Mark your calendars because Nov. 19 you have plans. Your Akron Zips football team will be taking on Kent State that Tuesday night. Although the game is away at Kent this year, make sure to deck out in your blue and gold and head up north because this is a tradition you will not want to miss.
23. Attend a Zips Invade event
Zips Invade is back in full swing this fall! If you haven’t had the chance to attend yet, don’t worry—there are still plenty of opportunities. Join us at NOMZ on Sept. 27 from 2-5 p.m., where you can enjoy any iced or hot coffee, tea or Zippy Punch lemonade. Then, head over to Akron Coffee Roasters on Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for your choice of coffee or tea. Finally, stop by the Peanut Shoppe on Oct. 2 from noon to 4 p.m. (menu items will be announced soon). Best of all, everything is FREE when you show your ZipCard!
