Audio-Technica Esports Scholarship

Established by the Audio-Technica Corporation in June 2018, The Audio-Technica Esports Scholarship supports ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ Zips Esports program, providing scholarship assistance for varsity team members, as well as audio engineers associated with ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ’s esports initiatives.

Since 1962, Audio-Technica has been devoted to the design, manufacture, marketing and distribution of problem-solving audio equipment.  In 2014, the company introduced its first-ever gaming headsets, which provide audiophile sound quality and feature a built-in mic for in-game communication.  Audio-Technica’s support as the Exclusive Audio Partner of ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ’s esports program will not only allow students to give peak performance through crisp and clear communication, but also allow the broadcast team to stream the competitions with the highest quality audio.

The Audio-Technica Esports Scholarship will be awarded annually to two individuals involved with the Zips Esports program.

One $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to a varsity team member or manager in good standing with the program’s eligibility standards, including GPA requirements, training attendance, participation in training support programs (exercise, nutrition, and other initiatives as required by the varsity program), etc.

Another $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to an audio engineer involved with the esports program with preference given to a varsity team member, a team manager, or an individual on the broadcast production team for the Zips Esports Network.

Selection of recipients will be made by the director of ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Zips Esports program.
