Hills, Robert G. Scholarship in Polymer Engineering
The Robert G. Hills Scholarship in Polymer Engineering was created in 2003 to encourage a deserving student with financial need. The scholarship was established by Mrs. Martha Hills and family in honor of Robert Hills’ 75th birthday.
For more than 40 years, Mr. Hills has been devoted to the plastics industry, first at NRM Corp. and later at two companies he founded: PARAMCO and Summit Machinery Sales. An alumnus of the University, Mr. Hills is a member of the Society of Plastic Engineers, both its local and national chapters. He is a member of the Plastic Pioneers Association as well. For his dedication to the plastics industry, Mr. Hills is recognized on the Wall of Honor in the Goodyear Polymer Center on ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ campus.
The Robert G. Hills Scholarship in Polymer Engineering shall be awarded to a deserving student demonstrating financial need and studying in the Department of Polymer Engineering. The final selection is to be made by the chair of the department in conjunction with the University’s office of financial aid.
