Zoltai, Anna Tall and Alex J. Zoltai Fund
The Anna Tall Zoltai and Alex J. Zoltai Fund was established with a bequest from Mr. Zoltai, who owned the Pongratz Music Store in Akron for 25 years. The purpose of the fund is to provide funding to assist bowed string instrument (violin, viola, cello, and bass) students in their musical studies. It may be used for items, including but not limited to, the replacement or repair of string instruments, the purchase of sheet music, and the purchase of equipment related to string instrument study. Financial need will be considered in any funding requests. Requests for funding will be approved by the director of the School of Music in coordination with the office of the dean of the College of Fine and Applied Arts.
