Through this scholarship, Mr. and Mrs. Gingo wish to help students achieve their career aspirations.

The Joseph M. and Linda L. Gingo Endowed Scholarship shall be awarded to full-time undergraduate engineering students with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher. First consideration will be given to chemical engineering students; however, the scholarship is open to other engineering disciplines. Preference will be given to students with financial need who graduated from an Ohio high school. The scholarship can be renewed through the recipients' fourth and fifth years, provided recipients maintain GPA requirements and funds are available.

Scholarship recipients will be selected by the College of Engineering and Polymer Science, with the number and amount of the awards determined by the College to assist in recruiting and retaining talented engineering students. When recipients have co-op assignments, scholarships will be applied to their student accounts during the semester classes are taken.
