The Petro-Tex Chemical Corporation established the endowed Petro-Tex Scholarship for student(s) entering their junior or senior year in chemistry or chemical engineering who intend to specialize in the field of rubber and polymer chemistry. The University Scholarship Committee, with advice from the head of the Department of Chemistry, makes the selection.
