The Ethel and Lois Leuchtag Endowed Scholarship in Nursing, a memorial scholarship, was established in 1997 by Dr. Harry Leuchtag in loving memory of his mother, Ethel, and his wife, Lois. The Ethel and Lois Leuchtag Endowed Scholarship Fund provides tuition assistance for deserving undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Nursing. Dr. Harry Leuchtag received the University's Honorary Alumni Award in 1996 in recognition of his devotion to the medical field and higher education.
