Morgan, Stanley L. and Eloise M. Endowed Percussion Scholarship

The Stanley L. and Eloise M. Morgan Endowed Percussion Scholarship was created in honor of the Morgans by their daughter, Susan Morgan Martin, and grandson, Ronald H. Martin Jr. The earnings from this endowed fund will be used to provide a full-tuition scholarship (half tuition to an out-of-state student) to an outstanding freshman proficient on the mallet percussion, snare drum, and timpani entering ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ as a percussion major. Applicants must have a minimum 3.2 GPA from an accredited high school and have obtained a 22 on the ACT and must enroll in the BM or BME degree program. The scholarship is renewable, providing the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA each semester. As a recipient of the scholarship award, the student is required to work two hours per week in the School of Music. Recipients are selected upon recommendation from the School of Music's percussion faculty in conjunction with the Office of Financial Aid.
