Behavioral Science, Social Science, and Humanities Majors for the
Early Assurance Pathway
There is no specific major requirement for the Early Assurance Pathway or medical school in general. Students need a strong foundation in the natural sciences to be competitive for medical school and to prepare for the MCAT but this can be done while pursuing a variety of majors. In addition to their premedical science coursework, students at ÐãÉ«¶ÌÊÓƵ can learn about social determinants of health and health behavior through relevant social science courses and can delve deeply into ethical decision-making in humanities courses.
